Yandex has launched a new newsletter ' Blogosphere of Russian Internet '.

- Growth of the Russian-language blogosphere continues to slow down. From November 2007 to April 2008 the number of blogs has increased only by 23 % (in the previous six months - 55% ).
- The proportion of active bloggers. In some large blogohostingah decreased as the absolute number of active bloggers.
- Every weekday blogs there about 200,000 posts and over 450,000 comments.
- Women have been writing in blogs, and men - most commented.
- The average blogger - a girl 22 years old, lives in Moscow. She has 19 friends, and comment on blog entries 10.
